Our Players

Some of our players are very experienced big band players and jazz soloists, but many of us had not played this style of music before and some had not even performed in public.

It is a friendly atmosphere with many players in their 20s and 30s and several youngsters who are still at school, as well as some more senior players.

There is no obligation to solo, but opportunities are there if you wish and players are encouraged to develop their playing in a totally non-threatening ambiance.
