Our Rehearsals

The repertoire always includes music for players of clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and percussion. We also do vocal numbers, and use flutes from time to time.

We welcome all newcomers with or without experience of swing music. We recommend a playing ability of Grade V level or the equivalent as a minimum. There are no auditions for entry, nor any other kind of restriction, except perhaps a lack of enthusiasm!

We always try to accommodate additional players, and everyone can play at most of our gigs.

We rehearse on Wednesdays throughout the year, 7-45 for 8pm until 10pm, at the United Church, Red Post Hill, SE24 - half way between Herne Hill and Camberwell, on the corner of Red Post Hill and Denmark Hill. MAP

This is 10 minutes walk from Herne Hill, Denmark Hill, and North Dulwich BR stations, and on the route of the 68, 468, 48 and P4 bus. It is also possible to park near the church. Bicycles welcome.
